CLAY INVITES CITIZENS TO CLICK-ON TO FIRST REGIONAL E-TOWNHALL MEETING

Congressmen From Five States Team Up To Take E-mail Questions

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Wm. Lacy Clay (D) Missouri, and 17 of his colleagues from five central states will join together tomorrow afternoon: (Wednesday, 6-7-06) at 2:00p.m. CDT in a first-ever, regional e-townhall meeting.

Members of Congress from Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Kansas and Indiana will team up to take e-mail questions about a wide range of issues including homeland security, the war in Iraq, rising gas prices, rising healthcare costs, college affordability, immigration, and other issues of interest.

Citizens are invited to take part in the e-townhall meeting by visiting Congressman Clay's official website at www.house.gov/clay. Questions can also be submitted in advance and a full transcript of the e-townhall meeting will be available at its conclusion
